New Chapters: Welcome To Write & Roam.

Hey guys!

As you may have noticed, the blog has undergone some changes! Here’s what’s going on.

I had no idea how things were going to look when I started this blog a few years ago. I initially started writing to share my journey with Hashimotos with you, the ups, downs, health tips, things that helped, and things that didn’t. Along the way, my passion for writing was reignited, and I began sharing things outside the box of chronic illness. For a while now, I’ve been sharing poetry, things I’ve learned from travels, moments in my life in the PNW, while continuing with health advice. I find having this blend of passions I can bring to this space feels more authentic to who I am at my core.

One thing that has remained consistent is my love for stories. Whether I’m sharing my own, or someone else’s, on this side of the world, or across the sea, I will keep seeking to understand, learn, and to put that into words. In all of the madness of today’s world, one of the things that make life, and humanity beautiful, is empathy: something I think society can always use more of. Stories have the beautiful ability to create a broader perspective and deepen our empathy. So whether I am sharing my own stories through my poetry, or telling someone else’s I meet across the world, sharing stories will be a big part of this blog.

Thanks to each one of you for being a special part of this journey so far, and I’m so excited about where it will lead next!

Welcome to Write & Roam.

Love, always

  1. So nice that you dropped by my blog this morning. And I’m delighted to see that you have a degree in theology…and wish I could know more. I have a keen interest in that area. You might check out another blog of mine, “Errantbaptistpreacher” also on wordpress. Bless you my friend.

    1. Absolutely, so eager to read more of your thoughts, I see we have a lot of similar interests! And thank you, after getting my degree I feel that I’ve barely scratched the surface of Theology, there’s so much more I want to learn as well. And thanks for stopping by my page, I’ll definitely check out your other blog as well.
